Meaning, if everything points towards the cop not being indicted

The cop will be indicted - if not by the local or state authorities, then for federal civil rights violations. At least based on what little evidence we've been presented, I hope I'm wrong.

I don't think the people currently "demonstrating", rioting and looting care much about anything or are going to see things any differently no matter what the evidence shows.

Agreed, but I don't think it's because of any narrative. Had the police been a little more forthcoming with info from the start, some of the negative sentiment would have been abated. The local police have created their own narrative which has caused a lot of the animosity. At this point, there's no reasonable outcome to this.

This may be true with the actual locals who are pissed off.

Problem is that there's a lot of elements who decided to show up and cause problems, which including "looter tourism" from states such as Illinois and Texas, professional race mongers like Jesse Jackson, militant assholes like the Communist Party and New Black Panthers, etc. And the fricking Klan is announcing rallies to be held soon.

In short, this situation is turning into a "racism!" bug light for pretty much every a-hole in the country.

And now Eric Holder is stepping into the middle of this clusterfrick. With his track record, he's going to end up inflaming things.

Yes it matters, but bear in mind this riot is about much more than the Brown shooting. Its been brewing for a while, Brown was just the straw that broke the camel's back.

The right way is to fly in, hold a presser to assure everyone that he is there to insure the truth will come out and justice will be done whatever that may be and for everyone to go home and let him and his people do their jobs.

So who's replacing Holder in this capacity?

Yea, the word is the Ferguson cops were targeting young black men in Chicago of all places and killing a half dozen or more every weekend.

It's time this stops and I don't blame the Ferguson protesters at all. they have to be worried that Chicago people will get mad and come burn Ferguson down.

On second thought, maybe they already are.

I'm pretty sure Chicago has this covered & don't need any help

Obama missed the opportunity and is sending Holder. After Holder maybe John Kerry?

But I understand your point, this administration is void of leadership.

If it is shown through ballistics and so forth that is is likely the cops side of the story reported yesterday is true, that he was rushed and shot in self defense, does it even matter?

The black woman on Cooper360 said basically at this point, no it doesn't matter...the mistrust of government and police is too high to overcome.

Do they have a camel with some straw on it's back with regards to the 93% of murdered blacks being murdered by other blacks? That's the camel back that needs to be broken.

so what is the riot accomplishing other than more violence, death, and the destruction of minority businesses?

Last night CNN's Anderson Cooper and others were criticizing the cops for releasing the tape of the store incident showing Brown was a thief because it was dirty pool and designed only to change the narrative.

How ironic? CNN is mad because the cop's were trying to change the "narrative" that CNN and the others were pushing. It didn't matter that their narrative was wrong. It mattered that the police were trying to set the record straight and that information was opposite of the info CNN had been pushing.

Unfortunately the stir it up crowd has better leadership than the nation has.

We saw this in Ferguson.

But it all boils down to trust. If you can't trust the authorities then there is going to be trouble. and we all know there is a reason blacks(whites too) don't trust authority and there are opportunists who use that distrust for political gain.

I agree here.

Still, each situation has to be judged independently.

what's been brewing?

The man that was picked for having the same exact name by the police in 2009?

what else you got?

the only thing brewing is black people teaching one another that whites and cops are against them and the world is unfair and they are out to hold you down"

That's been brewing in every city across the main land for decades...

You libs and your left wing media feed it all day twice on Sundays! This is your coffee Spidey, drink up!

Well, it was the wrong straw it would appear.

At least pick a situation that justifies the outcry. This shooting may well have been justified. We don't know yet.

What "evidence" points to this being the outcome ? Not bogus claims, evidence released to this point.
