There was a small club of them that used to set up tables near Free Speech Alley in the 1980’s. I remember they were big on supporting Nicaragua and they had a beef with the university’s President because his house was so large it was “obscene.” I told a member that even if the member lived in the crappiest apartment on or around campus and had several roommates, his living conditions would be considered “obscene” by the vast majority of the world’s population.

They weren’t violent or loud and would actually talk with you 1:1. Another difference was that these guys didn’t trust the system, government, mass media, corporations, or people over 30.

I’d say 99.9% of colleges do.

I think that is a problem most colleges/universities have.

Yes. They call themselves "the faculty". This group is on every campus I've visited.
