I’m at the point where we should return their hate with hate. Being pious at this point means we get wiped out. Look at this whole Russia and Ukraine fiasco. While we are trying to do everything above board, they busy cutting off our legs and trying to win by any means possible. frick them.

We really need to stop using the word democrats. It only serves to upset and divide moderate and ignorant democrats.
The Democratic Party has been hijacked by Globalist Socialists. And yes. I hate globalist socialists. They outright killed over 100 million people in the last century and starved and impoverished millions more and they have the nerve to constantly claim the moral high ground.
Any person at all who tells you socialism is a good thing is only one of two things: extremely ignorant or extremely evil. There is no other option.
And I wouldn't get all high and mighty if you're a Republican. Because your party is apathetic and complicit in the schemes of these Globalist Socialists.
We need a political overhaul in this country. Both political parties and their power structures need to be torn down, we need congressional term limits, and we need our electorate to get a basic history and civics lesson

I would say there is probably a few generations of old school Dems that haven't bought into this new psycho movement of the new socialist that have hijacked the party.
My grandparents were old school Dems and they wouldn't have jumped on this crazy train. They probably would have voted for Trump and not told anyone.

I have really good friends who are Democrats.
I can’t stand progressives though.

The old school GOPers are pretty bad. But the 50 yr old and down Republicans have hijacked the party, too. We are just tired of the uniparty backroom deals and decided with Trump we had a chance to change things to our way of thinking and getting things done.

I feel sorry for them. Most have been successfully and fully propagandized. They believe fairy tales and do incredible mental gymnastics to convince themselves they are right. Part of it is a superiority complex based on reinforcement from their bubbles.
My wife and I did not vote in the last election and am to the left of center on many issues. We couldn't vote for Hillary and were unsure with Trump. If I do so much as ask a question about the new left paradigm, I am called disgusting and vile, a terrible human being.
I'm called a racist for wanting a border wall, when throughout high school I spent every spring break building houses at an orphanage in Juarez, Mexico. A truly racist act.
My son is experiencing racism at school by kids who only speak Spanish and mock him knowing he can't understand and respond. He is excluded for being white. Kids parrot how their racist parents feel towards the evil white man because they believe what is being presented on TV.
I could easily hate them, but unlike what they believe me to be, I am a good person who treats everyone with respect and the way I want to be treated. This doesn't matter because I'm evil... and white... and a man.
I pity them and their ignorance, their group think and their anger. I am the person that used to empathize and try to help, now I keep to myself and look out for my own.
We both can't wait for 2020.

I’m not so sure this is the case anymore. Most Democrats will pull the lever for a Democrat no matter what. Many are too fearful of retaliation from their social circles to do otherwise.
