When you give Trump the power to do something, you give that same power to everyone who follows him. Every Biden, every Obama, all that follow.

It's an argument I only have to make against leftists. It's usually dealing with things like education, welfare etc.

He is constantly going on about how we need to give up freedoms to fight immigration. Wants to get rid of the 1st amendment and make laws banning Muslims from this and that.

But he's actually giving them permission to make laws in the other direction as well, because he's said the government has the right and role to do these things. They can start making laws against Christians, or any other religion once the 1st amendment is gone - a leftist dream.

So when you open that box, democrats get into office and use the same powers to do what they want. And they'll say "republicans did it" as justification and we'll all get fricked.

I live in a good state, Florida. I don't want shite moved to a federal level because it takes away states right and I'll be subject to the things the people of California vote for. He keeps trying to claim that if I don't do that, the people of California will come here and do it. So I need to let the federal government have all this power.

When I pointed this out to him, he claimed it didn't matter because he votes against Democrats so they won't get that power. Which is stupid and if it was true, then all the things he tries to fear monger with don't matter anyway.

I'm pretty sure he's an actual leftist and troll. He pulled the same kind of shite over covid. He just wants to destroy the constitution and the very few things left that it protects.

I've been debating that guy for about 6 years now counting the secrant. I've never seen him say anything that made me think he was anything other than a leftist.
