Do all these companies know their main customers will boycott them when they go woke?

Are these companies in denial on the backlash they get when they go woke or do they know the main customers will boycott them when they go woke because they have to have a high ESG score?

They know they'll have to deal with a 24 hour boycott until people lose interest and continue buying.

They don’t care. The track record shows that guys bitch and complain and then drop it. Look at sports, football and baseball have consistently stiffed their core customers and the customers don’t care. They still watch the sport and live with the wokeness. The companies fear left wingers more because they carry through with their threats, conservatives have a short attention span.

Yeah, but it has to stick, can’t be washed out as fast as the news cycle. Nothing changes until companies clearly go bankrupt due to their policies. Now is the time to show how much voting with your wallet means to wokeism.

I have been boycotting Target for years ever since they let men use the women's restrooms. It has not changed anything but I still refuse to shop there.

I haven't set foot in Chick-fil-a since Dan Cathy bent the knee to BLM and called everyone a racist before shining the rapper's shoes.

They know and are ok with it. The average consumer is no longer their primary customer. ESG and other mechanisms have created an environment where "stakeholders" are now the primary customer, and we're not considered stakeholders.

It’s been shown time and time again that most people don’t have the backbone for a true boycott

Same.
Nor have I shopped at Dick’s Sporting Goods and/or purchased Nike.

Who’s calling for them to be cancelled/closed?
A boycott is exercising one’s own personal choice, not a call for everyone else follow suit.

Why don't you go take another handful of "muh SSRI's" and STFU?

There's a big difference, and if you can't tell then you're an idiot, and if you can tell then you're dishonest. Either way, your opinion is worthless.

Or people stop buying Bud Light and move to Michelob Ultra. Not very effective when both are part of the same company.

The average American has a max focus time of about 3.50 minutes.

These large corps are well aware of this fact. Plus the average guy who just goes to work everyday and doesn’t follow politics all that closely probably won’t even know about the beer trans stuff. IMO anyway

It hasn't happened yet, so no. They don't.
