So, what we have here is a circumstance where a Dem operative set up a meeting with a lawyer that has no connection to the Kremlin, and puts in an email that at a meeting with the lawyer, there will be "valuable information" that is part of the Russian government's efforts to help Trump's election.

Mind you, this is a person with zero connection to the Russian government, and has no idea/knowledge of what (if any) efforts were being made by Russia to help Trump (although, this was a nascent talking point by this time).

So, the takeaway from this is because this was one of the supposed purposes of this meeting (again, completely fabricated, mind you), the fact that DJT, Jr. had the INTENT to get this information from someone allegedly connected to the Russian government is TREASON.

Really? That's the test here?

The knots the progs have twisted themselves into trying to make this more than it is is hilarious. Unfortuantely, the part of the story that this was a complete set up, that there were no connections to Russia, and that all that was talked about was Russian adoption policy, is being completely ignored by the MSM.

The juicy a want brigade disagrees.

They think Trump and all his supporters need to be hung in the public square and Hillary immediately placed in the office of the presidency.

No connection to the Russian government? Is her ex-husband still in Russian politics?

What about the lawyer herself, does she count on whether she is a credible source?

Most politicians try and find dirt on the opposition. Why keep changing your story?

What makes it a story is it should have been disclosed months ago.

I asked for what laws were broken and crickets.

If there was a law that was broken then your comment about squirming and deflecting would be valid. However it's impossible to squirm and deflect from nothing.

It's funny.

Most people never feel the need to lie UNLESS THEY ARE DOING SOMETHING THEY KNOW TO BE WRONG. Your miles might vary.
