Yes, after COVID, we should definitely let doctors determine or influence if you still have your 2nd Amendment rights.

Not surprised. There was always a reason they tried to get as many veterans as possible diagnosed with mental illness with the promise of a monthly check.

I remember the first article I saw about this on Nola.com in 2004ish WRT to a siege situation. They guy just wanted to be left the F alone, but family, LEOs, soon, the family owns the house after an amount of .223 was expended.

While I agree us Veterans shouldn’t be targeted, and our gun rights shouldn’t be fricked with, 22 of us commit suicide each and every day. You say they tried to get as many of us diagnosed with mental illness for their purposes, I say they haven’t done a good enough job. Speaking from experience, a check doesn’t offset suicidal thoughts, help does

This has been going on for more than 20 years, and a decent reason why vets didn't seek mental health resources. The government has been fricking with anything possible to have an excuse to deny you a firearm. Do you have PTSD? I decline to disclose, etc.

I don't tell the government a damn thing about my feelings.

Numerous sources, I learned about it in the Army, I've since been involved with numerous Veterans group focused on shrinking that number. I am not trying to be rude, but I thought that by now it was pretty much common knowledge.
