That’s a fricking stupid opinion.

It would certainly let the two parties that completely suck know where they stand regarding those who can not be a member of such parties. Independents are 28% of the electorate and growing.

Which means the two suck a$$ parties must be losing membership.

Today was supposed to be two rooms - one for prog filth, the other GOP (also filth).

We were all in one room today and you had to check a box for Dem/GOP.

It's a primary election.

She could have requested a ballot just for the amendments instead.

I wish Louisiana republicans wouldn’t let independents vote in the GOP primaries!

Democrats can even vote in the Republican primary if they ask to when they sign in in Louisiana. Can't vote in both.

Unfortunately, Alabama has open primaries also. You just can only choose one ballot or the other and then can only vote in the runoff of the party where you originally voted.

Tell mom it's ok. It is not the general election, only the party primary. It will be ok.

Its a closed primary the poll worker dosen't care.
This is to protect democrats or republicans for voting for the weakest opponent in a GE.

She mentioned to me that she doesn’t feel like voting is truly done in secret if a poll worker knows which party you’re voting for, especially in today’s political climate.

I hadn’t considered this but I’m sure there are communities where you would be punished severely for voting Republican and it could possibly deter people from voting their conscience.
