Did Sessions Appoint Durham?

Been a long day and finally catching up on news.

I saw this on Twitter. Did anyone watch Laura Ingram? I was unaware of this. . .

Sessions was a weak, ineffective attorney general, his views on Drugs are a throwback to the 1970s, and he’s older than Methuselah. He doesn’t get my vote.

I took him to mean while he was AG he got Durham to help him with a matter. I think Barr appointed him to his present task. So No.

True, but who could Trump have reasonably expected to nominate?

It isn't as if he had been building a movement for decades. Qualified, sympathetic people to the "cause" are few and far between.
