Did Rush have a health episode today?

same thing would happen to John Walton of the Walton & Johnson morning show as his health declined

he'd be in the middle of a live show... then all of a sudden a commercial break and then it went to a previous show

He sounded well.

Could be a family emergency type thing. Kinda had that I "gotta go now" vibe to it.

Did they ever mention what happened to John Walton? I assumed cancer the way he went down fast.

I am sad that we will be living in a post-Rush world sooner than anyone would have hoped. I know no one can replace him, but wonder if he has any plans to hand it off to someone. John Walton handpicked Ken Webster and had him on staff for years before he had to step in.

I heard him say that as well. I was surprised when announced he was leaving because normally he would have stated when the show started he would have to leave early. I got the feeling when he signed off he was contemplating sharing something with the audience but chose not too.

Here in Atlanta we got Eric Erickson for the final hour. He said that Rush would be back on Monday. Take that for what it’s worth, but considering all he’s been through…

Rush has the ability to make me think he's talking directly to me on his radio show.

He's my best friend who I've never met.
