Do you want people to believe that the media were actively doing this at the direction of Trump? Or does he really mind control Corporate news to that level that they are incapable of seeing with any of those?
They overtly reported lies as facts. With the intent to harm, not help him.

I am old enough to remember when the Vietnam War entered our homes at dinnertime on the evening news. Watched evolution of "If it Bleeds, It Leads" and now with click baiting the conspiracies sell more than common sense and the crazy sells more than the facts.
At least Rupert was honest in an interview years ago when he said he was in the entertainment business, not the news business. Reporting on DJT is profitable and modern media is all about the money. DJT is this era's OJ. Lots of media overkill for ratings but not really news.
I blame both sides for pumping a profession that has gone right down the crapper.
