It was in reference to what seems to me to be the belief that a person who opposes or argues against some specific criticism of Trump is a sycophant and possibly even dangerous in some way to Republican electoral chances.
Wouldn't a sycophant be the opposite of dangerous to Trump's electoral chances?
Anyway, I'm talking about a Trump 2nd term. If conservatives give Trump a pass on some of his huge/extremely impactful frick ups, then why wouldn't we get more of the same? Do you want a 2nd term full of shitty appointments, a growing federal government, failure to reign in the deep state, or why wouldn't the Left manufacture another fake "emergency" to bring Trump to his knees?
I love Trump's rhetoric. Unlike nearly all other Republicans, he's at least willing to talk the talk - but rank/file conservatives need to make it understood that in Term #2, there is a real expectation that he more closely walks his talk. No excuses.

The bottom line point was that a person can even vehemently argue against a particular criticism of Trump you’re making, while still being ready, willing and able to issue their own criticisms/opinions on some other issue.
Not sure why you're making this point. It's no different than me. I think Trump was great in some respects, just like you.
The debate is about what he got wrong, and that discussion never really starts without getting into some detail.
Example, and I'll leave Covid alone for the moment - Trump made some horrible appointments is a broad statement that doesn't mean a lot, but "Trump appointed Wray" is specific, and the discussion would quickly go to "can you imagine how different life would be in the US today if he had appointed someone that would have cleaned house at the senior levels of the FBI beginning 8/1/2017?"

Samantha Ramirez, communications director for Crist, said DeSantis is a "fake ally to our community, someone who smiles in your face but turns around and threatens to bus Cubans to Delaware and spends his time flying asylum-seekers across the country to score political points.
Samantha Ramirez is a lying bitch because she knows that DeSantis didn’t say this. The Lt. Gov., Jeanette Nuñez, is the one who was speaking about the governor bussing illegal immigrants to Delaware. She was speaking about the issue in Spanish, as she is the child of Cuban immigrants, and she specified that she was referring to people who enter illegally.

And one wonders why Soros purchased the conservative Spanish talk radio stations in South Florida.
