Yes, his mistake was running against Trump. He will be the lead candidate in 2028!

That will likely be Vance. Barring a huge falling out between the two (which is possible), Trump will throw his support and machine behind Vance, and that will instantly give him at least 30% of the R vote locked in the primaries. He will have the name recognition of being VP and have a huge leg up.

Only guy I see having any kind of chance is Youngkin who isn't tainted by the rancor of the past couple of years and would possibly be able to steal the non-maga vote.

Don't see it for Desantis in 28, maga is just not going to vote for him over Vance and that is a huge portion of the vote. He will run again and it won't work out, and he will either go to TV or private practice for a little while before resurfacing in the House or Senate someday

He would have had a way better chance of securing 2028.

And yet you'll be backing Vivek in 2028 and have no problem with him "running" against Trump in 2024.

Plus DeSantis was surrounding himself with RINO's and NeoCons. Not a good look.

This never happened. Name them. Don't ignore this like a pussy, name them.

Meanwhile, what are your thoughts on over 90% of Trump's 2024 team being staffers and confidants of the Bush family, John McCain, and Paul Ryan? Trump hiring Karl Rove as an Advisor in 2020? Trump's Senior Advisor, Chris LaCivita, being one of Paul Ryan's closest friends?

He keeps this up and Vance is going to have a hard time holding him off for 2028.

It depends if Trump wins. If Trump loses, Vance should not be an option at all in 2028, just like Paul Ryan in 2016 after Romney lost in 2012. In fact, if Trump loses and Sherrod Brown wins re-election in Ohio, Vance should be at the top of the list with Miss Lindsey, MTG, Bobo, and the "Florida Sucks" Caucus Congressional members of who needs to be primaried. Vance bent over backwards to make sure Moreno was the nominee for Senate. Vance's political future is on the line next month.
