Chauvin got railroaded.
But ya know what? Let's all be honest here? He also was being a shite and absusing his power because he continued kneeling long past necessary. And, we all gave him a pass because he was dealing with a piece of shite.
He didn't murder anyone. But, it was still shite police work.

Nobody gave him a pass and the fact that he got convicted of first degree murder instead of manslaughter at the very worst is insane. He and the other cops were dealing with a tweaker who was like 6’5” and literally jumped out of the police car when they had him in there. Are they just supposed to let him go at that point? And I am not one to say “back the blue” blindly. What happened to Chauvin was a travesty.

To hell with both Floyd and Chauvin. Both useless and stains on society. Anyone who simps for either of them is a few stamps short of first class.

But, once they got him cuffed and under control, he needed to get up.
I can hold 2 thoughts in my head at once. He shouldn't have been convicted of murder AND, he went too far because of emotions and, bluntly speaking..........because he figured he was allowed.

22 hrs include what the DOJ gave him? I hear he is appealing the MN verdict, but he isn't able to appeal the DOJ agreement.
To your point OP...the bigger question is what will the DOJ do to these 5 cops. Go after them hard or do nothing like they did for the Dallas cops that killed honky Tony Timpa 5-7 yrs ago.

The dude kicking him in the face and throwing haymakers while he’s restrained and held up, death. The rest, life in prison
