All the politicians are parroting this stupid bullshite talking point re the tax bill about “giving us a Christmas present.” Stick it up your collective arse you hacks. It’s ours to begin with.

Agreed. But I'll give them this one instead of "Merry Christmas, now give me more."

Merry Christmas for the Wall Street types. They got to keep their backhanded accounting schemes...thought that was going away Donny?

R's just cant help themselves, between this abomination and net neutrality, they keep making more and more Democrat voters everyday.

if the 2 parties would actually attempt to work together and better some of the things they are trying to do we might get somewhere.

Its just a pissing match and dems couldn't give 2 shits about whats trying to be passed. If its from trump they are going to kill it. He could try to pass on a cure for cancer and they would shoot it down.

You're not going to like everything in every bill. Neither will the representatives you sent to D.C. So they'll have to compromise.

As an example, not everybody was in favor of so-called net neutrality.

Just trillions more on top of the trillions in bail outs and freebies to the Corrupt Wall Street, bankers and Corporate America.
Wealth gap is at a record high and growing every second.

What specific section if Code are you referring to here? I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and won't assume you are just repeating talking points you don't understand.

so-called net neutrality

I dont want to hijack this thread, but I used net neutrality as an example of how out of touch Republicans, who pray to the alter of Corporate America are.

If you want to alienate every 10-40 year old in this country, this a shining example of how corporate greed will be perceived by many. I know 10 year old's dont vote, but their parents do.

Just like healthcare, there is an ever growing demographic that views cheap unfettered access to the net as an inalienable right, right are wrong, and the perception will be that Republicans kowtowed to their Big Telecom benefactors. Perception is 90% of reality.

The 50-80 yr old crowd has to realize it's not their world anymore.

"Corporate America" is on both sides of net neutrality. And guess who's winning the PR battle? The side that controls content (Facebook, Google, etc.).

Now that is scary shite.

Nobody likes Telecom companies anyway. When one of them tries something that the consumer doesn't like they get smacked down with the quickness, but nobody bats an eye when an article comes out about how Facebook or Google are blocking/banning certain viewpoints.

Never mentioned freeloading. "cheap unfettered access"

I work in Comm's. If these regulatory changes go thru, I personally believe this will be tied up in litigation for years, your home fiber optic service will be based on a similar cost structure provided by cellular and satellite systems. $130.00/monthly for a fiber line. It's coming.
