These neighborhoods will be ghettos in no time, same as the high rises and whatnot we've tried before.
Meanwhile, we tax old folks' SS, even though it's their own money, taken from them involuntarily and grown at a rate so pathetic you'd fire any money manager who limped in with those results, to help pay for it all.

The same people who have added so many regulations to home building in the largely blue states that it is hard to build, now want to fix the problem with socialism and new projects.

These homes would be filled with your degenerate clients and would be an extension of housing projects.
It sure won't be like the WWII vets. I grew up in those neighborhoods. Those guys not only kept their homes in good shape, they added rooms as they got into their peace time jobs. They all added a bedroom, another bathroom and enclosed the outdoor patio.

quote:Well that and private equity. Build smaller houses that people can afford, kill section 8 and all other government subsidies and incentives. Subsidies simply increase demand thus increasing cost just like student loans and EBT cards. Let churches return to handling charity so they have less time for politics.
Government involvement in the housing market is what has created the housing “crisis”

People who make bad decisions and don’t care much about taking ownership of the outcomes of their decisions or improving themselves and the places around them.

I wish the average amerocam could figure out the reason affordability (whatever that means) is 100% the democrat administration that was in charge from 2021-25's fault
