Dems want to subpoena a ton of things

I just don't get how they can say we have enough evidence to impeach, and then get to the senate and demand all these things they could of gotten. They use the excuse that the letter trump sent them implied that even if they went to court of the subpoena, they would just ignore it. The irony there is they then would actually have something impeachable and real abuse of power. LoL but by all means let the shitshow continue.

Why didn't they call all of these witnesses and subpoena in the House where they are in charge? Nothing kept them from calling any witness they wanted in the House.

Because their impeachment inquiry was a phony one. Without a House vote granting them specific subpoena power, there is no court enforcement power to require people to give testimony or produce documents. That's why they want McConnell to do their dirty work.

This is something they should have done in the house. No evidence or facts is a problem with Partisan Impeachment.

Bolton assistant they drop the case while he was seeking opinion from the court. We all know how this is going to go. No witnesses, no documents, and no conviction with all the republicans vote to acquit. Then they will cry it wasn't a fair trial and etc etc etc. Just another day ending in y

They could have done all this in House committee. But now they expect the entire Senate to be on lock down doing what they could have.

The Dems are just blowing smoke- they know it, but they have to continue the narrative any way possible. Remember, the Dems are all about trying to convince uninformed voters that Trump is still hiding something- that is their plan/agenda. They are sick, anti-American Bastards, but you can only dream that the Repubs would have the same resolve to mirror their unity on important issues to their own conservative side.

This must be repeated.
They never actually sent subpoena's as they had no authority to. They sent letters of request which could be ignored without penalty.

This is probably not realized by 95% of the public because all they hear is the msm version of "they withheld evidence".
Trump followed the legal procedure and claimed executive privilege with the courts, which they would have no doubt upheld because you just cant "claim" you want something from the president, even if you did have a letter written by your mommy (lawfare).
Schumer tried to remedy this in the senate and was voted down, here is an explanation by Con. Treehouse....

Because they know this is bullshite and they know the GOP won’t do it, so they can claim the narrative of “Trump was guilty but the obstructionist partisan GOP wouldn’t let us prove it”
