There’s no standard for a Congressional investigation. Congress critters can investigate whatever they want. They often investigate things they hear about in news reports. Always been this way.

Why don’t you spend a little time reading up on the facts yourself first? It will probably save you a little time in the long run. It will certainly save the time of others having to explain everything to you.

Agree that everyone is innocent until proven guilty. Investigations with this administration, not happening to protect, then it's a whichunt.

It's up to the judgment/mood/whim/partisan ax to grind of the chairman. It's not what I want. The reality is that such investigations happen at the discretion of the chairman.
In this case, I think that enough doubt has been raised that the nation needs to know that our military did not execute ship wreck survivors.
Decatur's recent find of two strikes AFTER the survivors were killed---if true---gives the military a viable out of "our subsequent strikes were to destroy the vessel, not to kill survivors."
