The D primary in my district is going through this. The primary challenger is a muslim that has been on the attack of the incumbent (Valerie Foushee) for taking money from AIPAC.

Unfortunately, they are both awful candidates and one of them will be my representative, because for some reason they carved out a weird spot in the map where they include my area with Durham. Durham votes so deeply blue that there isn't even a primary for the R candidate in the district and it's a conceded race.

Who needs money when 48% of the population is going to vote for you and the media provides you with free propaganda 24/7?

Money doesn't mean shite when you have people like McConnell, Thune, Graham and the rest.

Many of the donors that funded Trump will be funding a lot of Democrat candidates in the midterms

That is some wild speculation.

why they are broke?

most of there strings to yank $$$ out of the taxpayer's pockets have been either eliminated or contained.

Now the Soro's of the world have to ACTUALLY donate their OWN money to them - not as in the past, they'd donate millions and get tens of millions "in return" from the USAID type programs.

Lot of these billionaires may be crooked, but they are not stupid - they not gonna invest in a dead horse if they have no assurance of a healthy return on their investment.
