It’s an easy question to answer, and everyone who has replied knows it. The problem is that it challenges some ideas with which many of us have become comfortable.
Either black people were dealt a shitty hand which is to be addressed in some way by the government who did the dealing, or black people are inferior.
At least one of the two must be true, and everyone who has replied is absolutely terrified of answering the question.

No dude. Black people were dealt a shitty hand. That much is true.
Then the government and this country fought an entire brutal civil war and paid them a debt in death and blood to free them.
In the 50s and 60s blacks were poised to be a massive shift in the middle class with very strong religious and family ties. They were a couple generations removed from the Civil War and were making massive strides towards equality and economic power.
The powers that be, Democrats, decided that was not acceptable and they viscously and ruthlessly destroyed their communities. That's not a conspiracy theory. It's a fact of LBJs presidency.

With a BROAD brush, blacks can run a faster 40 time and leap a higher vertical than whites....with same said BROAD brush, whites are more adept at mathematics, science, etc. Those are facts. There is no "black america", it's just "America".
Black Americans were treated unfairly in past. Now, blacks are no longer treated unfairly nor are they inferior.
