Democratic Irony: Pres. Biden vs SCOTUS Breyer

Dems are ok with a senile President with dementia in the White house, but want Breyer on the SCOTUS to retire. A man with a full mental capability to reason, speak clearly, form opinions, etc.
Just shows how fearful the Dems are already at losing the Whitehouse next election, and losing their majority in the House and future Senate losses putting McConnell back in charge in the Senate.

What ever happened to Joe Biden's new and improved Mega Supreme Court?

Joe Manchin against ending filibuster.

What if they are scared of losing the senate due to cheating in the 2020 election. It is much more likely that proven cheating can reverse the Dems gains in the senate

I get the impression Breyer isn't a Biden or Harris fan. One would think with control of both Senate and POTUS a guy in his position would be announcing his retirement. He may very well but he surely does seem reluctant at this time.
Course it would be glorious if he waits to after 2024 and a GOP president and Senate gets to make the pick.

He has seniority now eith RBG gone. If he votes with majority, then he now as most senior status gets to write the opinion. Not Roberts. He's waited a long time for this moment. Could be a lot of 7-2 rulings and he writes the opinion, rather than 6-3 with Roberts writing them.
