Right. If you actually care about the plight of black peoples, you should be taking the opposite approach. They are crippling these kids by being easy on them, by never holding them accountable, by giving them an easy pass, by giving them things they may not necessarily earn through merit, etc. You are actually setting them up for failure. Everyone else in all other ethnic groups are in heavily competitive environments where iron sharpens iron.

I was recently watching Remember the Titans and this was a point that Denzel was trying to get across to the white coach who kept trying to hold the hand of the black players after Denzel hammered them

DEI is systemic racism, but that does not seem to be your point. So how did you prove your claim?

The same way that Lucifer's deceptive offer to Adam and Eve can...by embracing and experiencing the CONSEQUENCES of said belief. "One can tell a tree by the fruit that it bears". "There is a way that seemeth right unto man, but the end thereof is destruction". Coerced 'equality' is and will be suicidal.

Equality will never exist in Heaven or on Earth, nor should it. Because there are all different levels of people who are dutifully (like the *metaphorical*? 'Adam and Eve') acquiring an 'education' in order to know the whole Truth, and therein make an educated choice in creating themselves. That is our Purpose. (IMO).

Live and learn. Humanity doing what we were created to do.

It seems like all the attention on DEI is actually an attempt to discredit it. Familiarity breeds contempt. Then we can look at what happened with Claudine Gay- what a joke. It almost seems like she was planted to discredit the movement.

Y’all gotta get off 4cubbies. She’s right. Institutional racism is absolutely prevalent in the federal government to this day.

DEI programs are institutionally racist.

In academia and the private sector you also have affirmative action. That is racist at its core.

Cut her some slack fellas. She just doesn’t realize she’s a staunch supporter of policy that only concerns itself with skin color.

When those attitudes butt heads with the real world, often dire consequences occur.

Everyone who pushed it should face capital punishment. They are not capable of living in a civilized society.

I entered the thread the challenge the idea that systemic racism against marginalized populations is a thing of the past. Several posters, including you it appears, are pushing back by claiming that white people/white men are the most discriminated against demographic in the USA. I think that's laughable, but I realize several posters here who belong to that demographic genuinely believe they are the most oppressed demographic in this country.

When asked for proof, people respond with "affirmative action." The Supreme Court ended affirmative action in higher education last summer, but I guess there are plenty of posters here who attempted to work in higher ed before then but couldn't due to affirmative action?

Posting here is frustrating because so many people just come here to argue. There isn't actual discussion. It's the whole listening to respond vs listening to understand thing. I don't think you fall into that camp, but the majority of the board seems to. Everything doesn't have to be an argument. It's possible to respectfully disagree.

I've said this before, but I don't believe the majority of posters here are pieces of shite. They remind me of myself when I was in high school and college. I thought I knew everything. I thought white people were superior yet also got the short end of the stick. Then I grew up and got to see what real oppression looks like. It's not affirmative action.

I think the posters who are coming here to talk about how oppressed white men are don't see or interact with marginalized populations so it's easy for them to feel sorry for themselves and claim victim status.

Folks, this is peak gdamned delusion on display.

Take note, these insane Liberals are "teaching" your children.

God help this country when loons like this angry Redditor get to spill their lies and hatred to kids 8 hours a day.

Not only that, she's hurting the children she's supposed to be teaching.

When you spit these sort of lies, delusion and anger to impressionable kids 8 hours a day, it's setting them up for failure or an early grave.

She's pathetic.

See, this is the crap I’m talking about. You are arguing in bad faith. The Supreme Court did this, but that hasn’t stopped your racist friends. In many cases they were public about how they were going to get around this decision with other loopholes. Once again, you are a surface level retard. It hasn’t stopped. These people are indoctrinated radicals

You continually claim to be some sort of omniscient arbiter of all things related to race and tell folks not to paint with a broad brush, yet here you are painting people who disagree with you with a broad brush.

I think you're a Redditor loon who lacks any self-awareness.

You're not giving an example. You're responding with "oh yeah?! people are still doing it!" based on what? Tweets you saw?

Sort of the way you cast anyone who agrees with you as some sort of close minded person who doesn't interact with black folk?

You aren’t going to hear it from an echo chamber of other radical ideologues and if you actually discussed this with normal people, they absolutely would respond in the same way we are.

No, it was actually in news articles with quotes from your racist, misandrist friends. It was women just like you, who have no business leading anything.

I think we all understand at this point that we are trying to reason with an insane White Liberal Woman with a Narcissistic hero complex.

Addressing systemic racism in farming
Federal policies that uplift and support Black farmers discriminate against non-Black farmers, do they not?

quote:

Class action lawsuit alleging discrimination filed against Navy Federal
"CNN’s analysis did not prove Navy Federal is discriminating against borrowers"

quote:

Schuff Steel Company to Pay $500,000 to Settle EEOC Race and National Origin Lawsuit
Bad behavior by Travis Bell, a Schuff Steel plant manager in AZ, does not constitute systemic racism.

quote:

U.S. Marshals settle class action discrimination lawsuit for $15 Million
This appears to be nothing but a politically motivated settlement of a 30-yr old lawsuit. The U.S. Marshals Service continues to deny any wrongdoing in the case.

So it seems your "proof" of present-day systemic racism boils down to a singular instance of one individual bigot in Arizona?
