Or I just won't watch that program.

Where else am I going to repeatedly watch The Office or Family guy for months on end?

Out of the thousands of shows and movies on Netflix, I'm sure there are, and always have been people making money off my $10 a month who probably "hate me." Same with the grocery store, the gas station, Apple, and any other global or national service provider that I "fund." Once Netflix as an organization comes out and says that they hate me just because I'm white, we'll have a different discussion.

No, I think it would be stupid to base your self worth on something that has nothing to do with personal choices, accomplishment, or virtuous actions.

Josh when not defending the strongman you seem easily triggered. Luckily you have the poli-board safe space to run to.

I never heard of this show until a couple of you breathlessly upset girls ran here to post about it...by the way that dude Moore isn't the creator of the show (alternative facts).

Then why do you keep referring to a netflix program as an attack on your culture?

On Wednesday, Netflix debuted the first trailer for Dear White People, a new series adapted from Justin Simien's hit Sundance film, and within 24 hours, some customers were calling for a boycott of the streaming service.

quote:

"Netflix announced a new anti-white show (Dear White People) that promotes white genocide. I cancelled my account, do the same. #NoNetflix," one Twitter account posted on Wednesday. That particular tweet was grabbed and shared a few thousand times on the social platform, making Dear White People a topic of conversation as news outlets rounded up racist reactions to the show.

quote:

"It just brought more attention to the series. Thanks, white supremacists, you really helped me promote my show," he jokingly continued, adding: "I'm a little grateful, I guess, to the insanity."

Lulz.. "White supremacists"..

Not only will I not cancel it, I think I'll buy some Netflix stock. This is good publicity for them.

I don't think he's doing that . . . the problem with this show (and, like I said in the other thread yesterday, I only made it through about four to five seconds of the preview) is its presumptive attitude about a perceived paradigm. It doesn't have anything to do with aggression. I'd like to say stuff like this is just shock humor/value, but I think people actually believe or at least agree with this type of creative approach.

Because I don't want to support that type of content.

So you're intolerant of satire that makes fun of black and white racism toward each other. Does that mean you're not supportive of the gay cinema that's advertised through or made by Netflix?

All of this is just idiocy because after the last few years there's a sect of white folks who've begun to point to everything black people do in any way toward another race as black racism because we've wrongly (might I add) have called predominantly your whole race prejudice for decades. Here's the truth, black people honestly don't care about yall unless you getting over on us or harming us. We don't care what you say about us. We talk more sh!t than anybody, but we can take it too. We make fun of yall, just like we make fun of our own, it does not mean we don't like you, it is our why. We as a race, are generally, fun-loving, happy people. We are more WEARY of you all than anything. We fear being around you for the simple fact that we are different from you and in the eyes of you all (though untrue), less than you (though we are not) it is the mentality bred by history. We fear being killed, accused, or even being friends with you for fear it will turn and blow up in our faces.

So while you all sit and boycott, a freaking production, for poking fun at both sides for the stupidity from both sides. All you are doing is continuing to divide both sides, which solves nothing, and never will. Then you wonder why there's so much tension between both sides, it's assinine. So I'm sure if you want to cancel your Netflix over this, they'd be cool with it, it's not gonna stop them from making content for or about Asians, Blacks, Hispanics, Whites, that create conversation, teach or entertain.

I hope you feel good about yourself and not being able to have or entertain any thought-provoking conversation or humor about race. LOL
