Baton Rouge still has the consistently worst traffic of anywhere I have ever lived... and I lived in Southern California after leaving BR.

While we are on the subject, when I head east from Texas on I-10 if there is too much red from Lafayette to BR I cut North around Lafayette to Hwy 10 and cross the new bridge and pop out at McComb.
Nice bridge but I have always wondered why that wasn't built south where there is more need?

LKC has a crumbling bridge and has become a disaster as well.
