Trump has, in the matter of hours, shifted the national perception of his position on the current status of law enforcement.

The GOP and Trump Administration have spent 6 weeks straddling between the lanes of criminal justice/police reform and defense of law enforcement from defunding movements, but Trump, off the cuff, makes a comment to Chris Matthews about Biden's support for defunding the police and, in the blink of an eye, he has an adversary in Chris Matthews solidify Trump as the strong position on law enforcement.

As if that weren't enough, the leading Congresional Democrat has branded Trump's anti-Marxist police force the "Stormtroopers".

Trump has fuddled around lately, but he hit a 550 foot bomb today, effortlessly.

The last few days have been good. Real good. He’ll do something you don’t like and you’ll be here crying about how he’s losing in the polls eventually though.

Ironically, that a lot of the reason Hitler came into power.. German people were getting tired of gangs of lawlessness.. Nobody wanted the communist party running Germany... So a lot of people voted for Hitler to maintain Law and Order.

When Hitler got power in 33.. The SA (Brownshirts) became the police.

Something, Something history repeats itself something something...

This is not some pre-planned action, hence my usage of "off the cuff".

Trump has an extraordinary talent at hitting the bullseye when he's in fluid situations. That's his genius

Except in 2020 we simply want police to enforce laws that have been on the books and enforced for decades. Something something something

His interview with Chris Wallace was pretty terrible. Citing something in which isn't accurate is a joke.

1. It was accurate

2. It doesn't even matter if it was accurate, it will blow up in the news who will push the "fact check" that will only reinforce Trump as having the strong position on law enforcement

The police will come out of this with more power than when it started. And the public will gladly give it to them to restore order. This slope is slippery.

Huh? All it does is show Trump lying and bring light to the fact that Biden isn’t pushing to defund the police which is a win for Biden.

If it’s rolling back the 1033 program, which Biden has specifically talked about, then Rand Paul wants to defund the police.

The federal government can’t “defund” things that are funded primarily through state and local taxes.

Leftists: Defund police!!

Common sense people: That’s retarded. We need police.

The entire MSM: When the communists say “defund the police,” they don’t mean get rid of them, stupid. They just mean move some of their funds to community resources and reimagine the police force.

Joe Biden: I want to move some police funds to community resources and reimagine the police force.

Trump: Biden wants to defund the police.

MSM: Biden didn’t say he wants to defund police.

fricking dishonest shitbags.
