I wear it when spread is rampant (like now in LA) and in confined, highly populated areas (certain stores) to prevent high load of virus.
Zero chance for 0 virus.
I have highly vulnerable family that I am trying to protect. We use multiple methods (not just masks).
Instead of politicizing masks, live your lives...just try not to spread it, please.

SURGICAL MASKS ARE NOT SELF PROTECTIVE.
Surgical masks do reduce aerosolization though. Therefore there is a scientific basis for them.
That is why you don't want your surgeon operating on you without wearing one.
All of which is separate and distinct from the lack of need to reinstitute masking.
