Thanks for admitting the data is incomplete, this is a small step, but you are making progress. Maybe in 200 more posts you will get a little closer to the truth.

ANY - evidence that homicides are being undercounted.
From a letter sent to Director Wray by the Congressional Oversight Committee:
“In 2023 the FBI released its annual Crime in the Nation report showing an estimated 1.7% decrease in violent crime in 2022,….but there was no decrease. The FBI failed to include in its initial count an additional 1,699 murders”
Later in the same letter:
“The FBI failed to receive data from 37% of law enforcement agencies across the country “
If you choose to dismiss this then feel free to continue in your ignorance.

Homicides are hard to cover up if you want to juke the stats.

Ok now compare this fake homicide data for DC to homicides in Denver which has about the same population. You will clearly see the homicide rate in DC is off the charts whether it’s down or not!

In any event, this doesn't even begin to put a dent in the precipitous declines in murder (and all violent crime) over the past 30 years. That is a real drop and no amount of wishing it away (which is bizarre) will make it be any different.

I'll ask you again:
Which big cities that didn't report to the FBI would you like to look at?

We're a violent country compared to basically the entire developed world.

I mean...
We're also jailing an exponentially higher population compared to basically the rest of the developed world, too.

If you believe crime is falling in D.C. then your stupidty is only matched by your gullibility.

So - you and your ilk are stuck on this. Why, you don't wish crime to drop even more? Why are you offended by this action to help clean up DC? You all are poosyfooting around hoisting a suspect at most statistic, but even if true, why are you, your ilk, and the MSM head strong about this? You are not telling what is offending you - given that lower crime would benefit all. Why are you all offended?

Cities not reporting data to the FBI doesn't mean that the data is bad
It means it’s incomplete, and thus invalid.

Again, are you assuming they don't keep their own data? And we can't go look it up?
I would assume the data a liberal city keeps is incomplete, and thus also invalid

Invalid? No. Imperfect? Yes.
That's why they use modeling to fill the gaps. That's not invalid

You're entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts.

Keep moving the goalposts to try to further your wishcasting. You asked for ANY evidence and I gave it to you. Now you say we don’t have to rely on the FBI because you did not like my response.
You keep saying precipitous decline but have no credible evidence to support that, and when I question it you call my view bizarre. It is of note that you are the one that continues to get emotionally defensive when challenged, really does not help your argument.

Recall the manufactured COVID crisis? One of the most reported-on examples of modeling came from the UK that predicted millions of deaths in the UK alone in the first year.
Based on this experience it is reasonable not to trust modeling to fill in gaps in data.
