Called out Maher on his lazy OMB talking points and defended Trump in a way which should thrill all of us.

I’ve been skeptical of him but he completely won me over. He befuddled Maher from the jump.

Dude that debate was over when Bill started the timeline and it starts with Trump not listening to his OWN advisors (notice that advisors are plural) if you really think this administration took this serious and handled it well from day one then you are lying to yourself.

Where is the proof that he wasn't listening to his own advisers? His chief adviser on the task force was parading around on CNN calling this a nothingburger for the United States as late as the end of February.

This was a failure of government. Plain and simple. Other than South Korea and Japan there are very few success stories when it comes to mitigation. Maher would have a point if we were the only country that shite the bed. We weren't. We were one of many.

That was a beat down. That’s how facts just kill the liberal narratives

And it cannot be overlooked that SK's (amongst others) "success" came at very significant cost of privacy and individual rights of those who were/are infected. Costs that quite simply are a non-starter in this country.

Let’s be honest Trumps words for several months were extremely dismissive of the virus. He does get high marks for shutting down China and European flights but his predictions were very far off.

Can you link to where trump didn’t listen to his advisors...that would be great!!! Advisors are plural..should be easy!!

When did trump end travel to China and Europe? Even though Nancy said no?

I'm less inclined to describe it as "dismissive" and more "incongruous" or "confusing". I say this because in the same briefings that are most often cited in the assertions that he was brazenly dismissive, he also stated in no uncertain terms and not just once and not just in passing, that it was absolutely possible that the virus could spread in communities throughout this country.

Yes, he was also at the same time opining that although community spread was fully possible, he believed that we had it under control.

But again, he was always keen to acknowledge the potential for spread.

That was awesome. I get what Crenshaw was saying. He doesn’t agree with everything Trump on policies or even tweets and other things, but willing to accept the little of bad to take all the great. BM evidently, believes everything the fake news media spews and regurgitates it on his own show and believes word for word. To him anything and everything Trump is bad no matter what, truth or false. The facts Crenshaw delivered was like pie in the face to Maher because he doesn’t know how to debate them when the rehearsed story is all you know. No matter the truth.
