If Desantis lost to Biden in 2024 what will you say then?
It is NOT Biden running against any true Conservative...it's the corrupt Dem Machine.
Minus the Covid bomb and bs, Trump would have won going away, even given the massive ballot harvesting with tons of invalid votes. And not to mention 'Ruby Freemans'.
We have a dilemma. Go with the relatively untested De Santis, who might have an electoral edge...or go with a proven product (Trump) who has been electorally damaged via the corrupt MSM, in the minds of people like many who think RDS has the best shot.
This is what a Primary is for. Let em' present their case and let the people decide. I'll vote for either, but if either gets elected and does what they MUST DO to shut down the Fascist Dems...the streets will explode (just like in the last Trump Adm., and this time, that will have to met with equal force. And we all know where that goes.
There are some things that cannot be easily or painlessly addressed, like a serious cancer. Radical surgery and painful therapy...or die a progressive but sure death.

They can be touched. Security clearances are mandatory for those positions. Pretty easy to start snatching clearances.

If Trump is looking strong prior to the elections, Congress will likely take action to nullify or repeal any Schedule F stuff he can do.
I don't really agree with Congress's power here. I believe the President is closer to the "unitary executive" that Scalia talked about. Article II supports that, the constitutional convention etc. They specifically talked about a "council" and rejected that type of idea and specifically made the President the chief executive. They gave Congress checks and balances, but not executive authority. Congress has enumerated powers because they wanted Congress constrained. Article II is remarkably short and has no enumerated powers, and it was specifically written that way because the President was meant to exercise a lot of discretion.
Works well when you have a good president.
Congress is not permitted to hire, fire, or retain or force the retention of executive branch personnel any more than the President can dictate who is on a congressional staff.
