It basically has nothing to do with what state it takes place in, or Governor Abbott himself. They have nothing against Texas itself, other than it's known as a "Red State" and Abbott is a Republican.

They want nothing more than for this to blow up, COVID numbers to skyrocket, and tons of people in TX to die. They don't care that they're fellow humans or Americans, they just want to prove their point. That's all they care about.

They want to point to mask mandates and government overreach and say "See! That works! We told you the government knows best!" Not because they care about your safety, but because they want to be right, and those "evil backwards racist Republicans" to be wrong.

They're simply DYING to show those backwards Republicans in Texas that they think and vote wrong, that the Democrat way of life and ideals are the CORRECT ideals. They think that they have a huge opportunity to prove a point about Dem leadership in front of those uneducated southerners, and they want it so badly.

For some reason their identity is tied to how the government performs, and how that government can change YOU. That's all they ultimately want, to fundamentally change YOU. So they want to say to Texans "see, we were right all along when we warned you about removing mask mandates!"

They, of course, won't show face when they're proven wrong. They'll already be on to the next thing that they *think* they can use to drive a wedge into the Republicans and Conservatives to pry off more votes for their side.

It might be power outages, crazy weather anomalies, shootings, a cop killing a POC, other COVID stuff, bullshite racism, etc... but they're ALWAYS trying to find that wedge to drive between us.

They don't actually care about us or our well-being, they just want to feel superior, gain more power, fundamentally change our values, and gain our votes and money.

Why are t people happy that we are trying to go back to normal.

I will never understand this
