You're being gaslit to distract from the actual criminal scandal. COVID was ID'd in Feb2020 as genetically modified and originating at the WIV. Team Fauci, then determined those facts needed to be covered up, because:
1) Fauci predicted this hypothetical outcome (a novel, engineered virus outbreak) in 2012, and then he audaciously claimed even if such an outbreak occurred, the research leading to it "would still have been worth it."
2) Fauci also claimed in 2012 that such an outcome would not occur because BSL 3 or 4 labs were so careful, well equipped, well managed, and well staffed that such a catastrophe was virtually impossible.
3) Fauci's GOF domestic research was stopped by an Obama decree shortly afterwards, d/t perceived risk.
4) Fauci enabled the WIV (Wuhan Inst of Virology) to continue GOF work which was illegal in the US, despite known issues at the WIV with being ... Wait4It ... poorly equipped, poorly managed, and poorly staffed ... all the safe guards he'd cited as making catastrophe virtually impossible in 2012.
5) The idiocy of #4 led to a predictable outbreak.
6) The idiocy/criminality of #5 led Fauci to organize a cover-up.
That is the fact-string that these harebrained gaslights are meant to distract from, or discredit.
