All of you who down voted the OP, please rush out to get the vaccine just as soon as you possibly can.
Already received dose #1. Getting #2 on Monday.
All of you who "aren't scared" or "it doesn't kill but a small % of old people" need to see all the 30-60 year olds who were just fine and working, caught COVID, were hospitalized for weeks to months then are spending months getting strong enough to pull themselves to sitting in bed and be able to walk with a walker.
I see them everyday. But the vaccine is going to have more long lasting effect than the virus or but did you die?

Not taking the vaccine any time soon.
Perfectly reasonable take, especially for a virus like covid.
But its also perfectly reasonable to take it, especially if you understand how it works.
So many stupid takes out there, like it is the live virus or it alters your DNA.
Just more uneducated BS as usual from both sides.

quote:I don't have a problem with this opinion. The problem is with the term "half way healthy", and making the exact age "70" be the cut off.
Any half way healthy person under the age of 70 should have this attitude.
How and who designates who is or isn't "half way healthy? Obesity, high blood pressure, ANY respiratory problem, heart abnormality, etc., etc......on and on. Plus, I know people in their 50s who are in terrible physical condition, and people in their 70s who participate in marathons, long distance bike races, etc.
The bottomline here should be:
If you want the vaccine then take it, but if you don't want it, don't take it but don't ask your insurance provider to be responsible for the expense you incur if you contract it. fair is fair.
