No two ways about it. Our ICU's are full. Period. Hospitalizations keep setting new records every day. We've got a record number of patients on ventilators.
There are maybe half a dozen available ICU beds in the entire Jackson area. Yesterday it was only 4.

Trump could easily send one of those gigantic arse ships to the gulf to help if it was truly bad.

Hope the folks make a recovery and have no long lasting symptoms.

BSL is alive and kicking. Not a mask in sight...outside of servers and bartenders, don’t want to get them in trouble.

According to that graph the state has seen an increase of 45 vents in the last 3 weeks...in the entire state. Also an increase of 150 (or so) ICU patients. (Covid related).

Are these numbers that the entire state of Mississippi cannot handle?

Apart from maybe abortion, I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a modern day issue cause so much division and anger.

If I was sociologist I’d apply for a grant to study the reactions.

I find the entire deal intriguing, from a scientific standpoint.

It’s raging in the coastal counties right now. Probably the first wave finally hitting in a lot of the rural areas.

Yes , these are number Mississippi can’t handle

Zero resources. Zero funding. No competent staff to help staff additional units

Did you even understand your own graph?
It doesn’t appear so.

One day ventilators help. The next day they don’t. I can’t keep up with the ever changing narrative. And I suppose, that’s by design.
