He had a bad concussion from a fall several weeks/months ago and it has fricked up his brain. The dude needs to fricking retire and enjoy life and it's ashamed that there are no age limits in DC (Including Trump)

Mitch is fricked. He wields the power in the Senate, and even though he appears doomed to die soon from something going on with his health, he is beholden to those in real power. He is corrupted beyond measure, knows he is corrupted and can do nothing about retiring. He sold his soul to the Devil (cartels, China, drug companies, etc..) and they expect results. They won't let him leave. He carries out their business for them. He will die in office. He's stuck and someday, soon, he's going to face certain eternal damnation.
