I have a toddler so I'm changing diapers and using hand sanitizer all the time. I've had a big bottle that still has some left in it and we cracked that thing open months ago. I think two of those thinks may last a family for a year or more

I bought like 4 jugs of sanitizer in January 17 when my first kid was born so we would have one in most rooms. We still had 3 full jugs and about half of the fourth when all of the corona shite got started. Funny thing is we had a second kid in between in February 19 and didn't even bother getting the sanitizer out, just a tad bit more relaxed with the second boy

So I walked into Costco this morning and was handed a mask. I took it, stuck into my back pocket, and went about my business while breathing unobstructed oxygen like a healthy human being should. Nobody said shite.

Meanwhile, I saw 2 or 3 people with the things below their noses, one person with it around their neck, and several more constantly touching and pulling on the damn things.

Which location? I'm guessing not a well-run one.

Why do people shop at Costco and Sam's? I admire Costco's business model but seriously the price of admission and the crowd just makes it a no go for me. My wife buys gas at Costco...saves about 3 cents a gallon with a 16 gallon tank...48 cents.

Hmm. The Sams/Costco locations I go to usually are about 25 cents or so a gallon cheaper, but even then, I don't make a special trip to go there. When I'm there, I fill up, or if I'm passing one, I'll fill up. Also, there is rarely more than a one-car wait per pump.

We have memberships to both, as I find they each have their perks. Sams, we tend to use more for kids snacks and drinks, and frozen foods, especially more name-brand stuff. Costco, we use more for their private label stuff, and paper/cleaning goods such as paper plates, toilet paper, and detergent. Costco seems to have better meat, Sams seems to have better poultry.

A big container of trash bags or laundry tabs will last a while, and it cheaper, and they don't expire.

Exactly! These people must be bathing in it.

I have the hand sanitizer for me and not the kid.

Just in case I put my hand on my face after putting diaper cream on

We went to Sam's last Friday and they were requiring masks. I always have one with me just in case. I hate them, but put it on if asked/required.

We like Sam's scan and go. We scan stuff as we put it in our cart then just hit check out and it charges the card on file. Walk out without standing in line.

We also buy snacks and the like in bulk. Plus they usually have pretty decent meat. We upgraded to the fancy membership for free shipping and cash back. Probably will do most of our sundries shopping and have it shipped then go in when we buy meat and stuff.
