So Obama didn't cut the deficit by 2/3 like he lies about having done?

The blueprint is only to effectuate the plan to repeal ACA.

That makes no sense. Obama about doubled it in 8 years. From the start of the country, it took 230+ years to get to under 10 trillion...and the dems double it in 8 years and you comment about "Party before country"?? Thats oddly lacking in self awareness imo.

Trump says he wants to spend yugely on expanding nuclear arsenal. Who benefits?

Trump wants to end estate taxes.

LSURussian, you're knowledgeable in this area. Is there any reason why Congress and the President couldn't pass a budget, in any year, where if revenues and expenses don't balance, they could still "balance" it by showing the debt required to cover the expenses?

I've been in banking for quite a while now, and while I'm not familiar with government accounting, I don't see why we can't get a full set of financials from the federal government showing what cash flows would be required to cover expenses, whether from revenues or new debt.

This is one of the most frustrating aspects of fedgov for me, and I don't understand why people aren't more up in arms about it.

$1T hole in the budget sounds bad but $10+T hole with no budget is embarrassing. I love how dems now care even though in 2008 you had someone running on paying off the national debt in his first term...

The time to fix it is long past. The best analogy I can find is that our debt is like cancer. It grows in an exponential fashion, faster than the surrounding economic tissue, which it eventually destroys. It metastasizes into every aspect of the economy. Once it reaches a certain point, it becomes impossible to treat and the outcome is assured.

That's where we are. No president can treat this problem; the requisite dose of chemotherapy would be just as deadly as the cancer, and a lot quicker. Plus, as far as I can determine the course has been set for currency destruction and it's too late to change direction.

I sure hope you're wrong...

You it seems are stupid enough to believe that.

Try looking at ustreasury.gov and look at the real amount of debt.

Or just add the so called deficits that have been reported and see just how far off they are from the 9 trillion added to the debt on Barrack Hussein Obama's watch.

He's lying about caring or is a hypocrite. We all know which it is.

I wish liberals would indeed join us in calling bullshite on all this spending but they will only do so when a R is in the office. Maybe they can join us permanently on calling out out of control spending. I really doubt it though. Otherwise they'd have been all over Obama.

A week to go, total addition to the debt on Barrack Hussein Obama's watch approximately 9.3 trillion.

Last fiscal year approx. 1.42 trillion added to the debt.

Went from roughly 18.15 to 19.57. From then to today have added almost another 400 billion.

He's definitely going out with a bang.
