Trump wasn't my horse in the primaries, but it's been made clear this week that he has proven to be a particularly impactful leader far beyond domestic policy. It's been a pleasant surprise that the Trump White House has recently earned some major foreign policy chops:

1. Immense progress on brokering a peaceful resolution on the Korean Peninsula.

2. Bringing 3 hostages home from North Korea.

3. Capturing 5 top ISIS officials in a US-Iraqi Sting

4. Applying necessary pressure on Iran by eliminating a weak, toothless nuclear deal.

So congrats to the Trump White House, State Department, Department of Defense, and the American electorate for your recent success.

Hopefully no one eases off the accelerator just yet.

I will echo this.

If fat kim is brought to heel, the Trumpian white house deserves the nobel peace prize.

nope. A critic loses all credibility when all he does is criticize...

...deescalating the 70 years of near war state in Korea would be one hell of a foreign policy accomplishment.

Nothing but praise if fat kim isn't playing another US president and Trump gets this done.

This is not quite the same as the wall coming down in Berlin...but it's damn close.

Proud to say Trump was my guy early on.

When he criticized BLM and called them trouble when they were being allowed to raise hell by the previous admin, it really hooked me.

I even donated to his campaign. My name should be on Trumps wall at Trump tower.

Not really.

The Cold War's end denuclearized the world (for the most part)...Kim may have a half dozen warheads...at most.

Cold War nukes and 2018 nukes aren't the same; yes both are lethal (understatement)

I actually agree with you (the frick is happening rn )

KJU's aggressiveness puts the threat level up there, but still slightly behind the CW overall threat.

absolutely...where the Soviet Union had the ability to strike the US Mainline easily...Kim not so much...thus the difference.
