I’ve seen several references to Churchill being a drunk and this isn’t actually accurate. Churchill was a prodigious drinker, but there are almost no accounts of him being visibly drunk. This is notable because he was a prodigious drinker and he had many enemies who would not have hesitated to capitalize on an instance of him being drunk.

I caught his quote about comparing this war to Pearl Harbor. 'The skies turned black with planes.'
a. It's kinda rude to smack the Japanese the same day they got a big earthquake.
b. I don't think the Jap carriers had enough planes to block out the sun.
He needs to tone down the drama.
