The advantage of having a “ Low Trust “ political system is now you don’t have to play by the rules . Remember this at tax time . That’s the lesson of all this. They are getting theirs, make sure you get yours.

Not so easy for those of us who have taxes automatically deducted from our paychecks, and who receive their money BACK after filing tax paperwork.

We were a High Trust society eight years ago . Now we are a Low Trust society. We know the game is rigged in favor of an elite, we expect it, we know there will be no substantive effort at justice, so we in turn become less likely to be virtuous. That’s how you go from a uniquely idealistic society in which the G Man is a revered figure of civic virtue, to a society where you view them as oppressive State agents who are above the law. In the end, everybody has less trust and feels justified to break laws. It’s the Obama legacy. Get ya some.

I've been pretty disappointed with how this has been handled so far. We know that the intelligence community spied on the campaign of the one outsider that they didn't want to win in the race for the highest office in the land. I should be seeing people getting perp walked by now.
And what's funny is that there is at the same time a large group on the left saying just about the same thing.
"We know that a presidential candidate colluded with a foreign government to steal an election. We should be seeing people perp walked by now."
This whole thing is fricked, if nothing happens then you can kiss the republic goodbye because these people will know they have complete immunity and will only be further emboldened.

This statement is very telling. If they are certain it wasn’t political bias, then that means they surely know what his true motives were for breaking protocol right?
I bet they don’t.
I think what they mean to say is that they couldn’t find concret evidence of political bias.
As you can see, that’s very different.
