Colossal government screw ups…let’s list them!

For our resident Progressives and Democrats that seem to think giving more power, money and control to the government is a great idea - let’s list the biggest govt failures that we can think of to remind them…..are these really the people you want running everything?
I’ll start with 3…
Afghanistan withdrawal - my sixth grader could’ve come up with a better plan. I mean WTF?
9/11 - there have been books written about the shady shite leading up to 9/11 and how we were all over these terrorists but somehow managed to not stop them. Thousands dead and the beginning of our ME adventures. Govt failed to protect us.
2008 banking crisis - lack of oversight and regulation, pandering and straight stupidity led to the near collapse of our banking system and cost us God knows how much….and led us to the perpetual asset bubble and debt bomb we’re in now. Govt policy contributed to this.
There are plenty more but I didn’t want to take all the fun. What say you?
