Oh, believe me, I do. Circular arguments are circular.

It's not circular.

Do you think we were in Colombia to kill Escobar without permission from Colombia?

Or when we do operations in Mexico. You think we do that and fight the Mexican government or have permission from them?

Again, pay attention to the obvious details. This isn't complicated stuff.

Cartel de Los Soles is somewhat real . But not all that influential. Sort of a loose affiliation of old FARC types and mid level Venezuelan Army officers who turn a blind eye to activities . But their existence and activity is a great boogeyman. Their influence is minimal. Their main markets are the Dutch islands like Aruba and Curacao and getting product to Trinidad to get to Europe bound freighters. Some of it filters to other islands in the Caribbean and gets as far as the DR and maybe Puerto Rico.

The Caribbean has long been a US lake as it applies to the smugglers. We control the sea and the airspace and have done so for the last 30 years. Thus you see minimal supply up through that route. Cartels discovered you can supply more by moving up through the overland. More place to hide and stash and more reliable and safe routes.

Ya boy, Bukele is on both the Cali and Mexican cartel payrolls. Jailing MS 13 types was part of the deal. They had proven to be not as reliable and they stuck out. He provides safe passage and in return the cartels pay him and members of the military. They've helped to fund the prison complex....along with the US.

This is where you see the dishonest extrapolation of the kernel of truth.

To deal with fentanyl specifically we need to unwind the over-regulation of opiates that started during Trump 1. We know for certainty now that normal opiates are much safer with fewer negative externalities than fentanyl.

Then once we get back to 2019 era drug problems, we can start working our way back.

The last thing we need is for the replacement for fentanyl to arrive, b/c there is almost no way that won't be worse than fentanyl

ugh. try to stay on topic you lunatic.

first of all, it doesnt matter how much or where its coming from. If they identify a drug boat on a known US trafficking route, it gets popped. so stop wasting my time with all of this parsing about who gets more of it or where its coming from. All that matters is we know its coming through these countries and we know its coming here and its a fricking problem. I've already given you the data, but you refuse to acknowledge any of it, so what's the point or you continually going back to this if you are not interested in real debate?

Secondly, Leavitt has answered your fellow lunatics in the media on this over and over again. It isn't about any specific item being trafficked. Its about Narco-terror and the FTO designation.

quote:

Leavitt said the strike was conducted in "self defense" to protect U.S. interests, took place in international waters and was in line with the law of armed conflict. "This administration has designated these narco terrorists as foreign terrorist organizations," Leavitt said.

The Trump administration has labeled drug cartels as "narco-terrorist" groups and designated them "unlawful combatants," stating that this justifies lethal force under the laws of armed conflict.

The problem is what apparently doesn't matter is the law and limits on our federal government

Why would cocaine prices in the US rise if those drugs weren't eventually making their way to the US?

You cannot ask a simple economics question to commie filth. They don’t have a concept of how that works.

So the boats aren't taking fentanyl to the US?

Im sure that the boats carry anything of value that needs to be sneaked across the border.

Fentanyl
Cocaine
Weed
Sex workers
Guns

The Fent is mostly coming by land over the border. You want to argue nothing is being done about the border?

Here are more links for you to ignore:
Major seizure from just a few days ago
240% increase in Fent seizures
CBP: Seizures surge in August

But we might as well. You've been wallowing in fantasy land this entire thread.
