Ya know, when you look at the current Israel/Gaza situation and understand that the UN was involved directly and working hand-in-hand with Hamas for years, to the point of essentially facilitating its operation as a terrorist group, and apply that to the current peace plan......it doesn't really give you the warm and fuzzies.

That same UN, via the UNRWA, is still playing a significant role in the Gazan relief effort despite the fact that it still refuses to recognize Hamas as a terrorist organization. The "20 point plan" allows them to still play a major role while it also allows what is left of Hamas to just "lay down their weapons" and stay in Gaza. That "20 point plan" also has a "Peace Council" lead by the US, which Donald appointed himself as the chairman of. It also guarantees security for any "terror free" zones that may be established in Gaza.

This certainly won't have long-lasting repercussions well beyond Trump 2.0. Food for thought.
