Much ado about nothing. It's an attempt at making some sort of something out of a pro - forma form. Sessions handlers in 2016 when he was being vetted for a possible position for in the Trump Admin was asked to fill out a form by the FBI about his contacts wit foreign officials, etc. They asked if meetings on the record and as part of his duties as a US Senator were to be included. The FBI at that time told him NO. Then when he was nominated, they did not ask the FBI again mainly because they thought the issue was asked and answered before.....which it was.

Personally if I were Sessions , I would have told Franken to frick off. I would have put it like this, " Al....you know that I did because if you are asking this question you know the answer.....it's all on the record. I also talked to officials from the UK, Israel, China, France, Mexico, Italy and Malta....to name a few...Stewart,,,,I mean...Al would you like me to provide you with the transcripts as well as affidavits from my aides on all of the discussions....I would love to provide them to you."

Then give him a detailed report of each and every meeting he had with every foreign official during 2016...then ask Al for his.

when you were quoting my reply why didn't you include that Clapper, Brennan, Feinstein, Burr, Maxine Waters et al...have all said there is no evidence of Trump Russian collusion.
