Thad's campaign is asking clerks to not certify votes until last minute to give McDaniel less time.

Being reported tonight.

I know several heavy hitters in ms politics and it's well known that Thad's campaign was behind it. Hell I knew about it well before the calls were ever made. They knew it had to be a nasty win and did whatever it took, give them credit for that at least.

Well they are employed by the parties not the state. This is not a state election but a party election. Do any of you actually understand the process? Ant the photo proves nothing. Could BS a p/p list. Do us a favor and show the whole sheet.

The courts will have the final say. Then expect growth in the tea party and more fights against the old guard

Thad's handlers are worried about some of this crooked stuff leaking. There are some outrageous rumors going around about what Thad's campaign pulled to secure a win.

Meanwhile, Thad still doesn't know he won anything.

You want us to give them credit for knowing they had no shot of winning without taking illegal measures?

Apparently, there is no law or no sense of moral conscience in breaking a law...if done for the promotion of one's chosen ideology. For some anyway. Courtly men.

I don't understand this at all, The whole I don't care if the election was rigged as long as my guy wins is scary as hell to me. It means that you really have no respect for the democratic process.

McDaniel said last night that they had found 1000 votes in one county that had voted in both primaries. 7000 more to go.

Can someone tell me what makes the votes invalid?

Im assuming that registered Dems aren't allowed to vote in Republican primaries?

An "illegal" vote is one that if you voted as a Democrat in the Democratic primary then you can't vote Republican in the run off.

Ethically, you should not vote in the Republican runoff as a Republican if you plan to vote Democratic in the General. Not illegal though, plus unenforceable!

35,000 is an exaggeration I believe. Probably more like 10,000.

Ironic, to me anyway, is if the Democrats that did vote and put Cochran over did themselves a disservice. I think Childers would have had a better shot against McDaniel than Cochran. JMO

This guy was allegedly involved with all of the picture taking scandal back before the primary - committed suicide this AM.

That was a weird arc in the primary timeline. Just weird.
