The thing that is missing from this thread thus far is that it is also driven by low birth rates. With birth rates below two per woman replacement is an inevitability. We are well below two in America. If that doesn’t change we will be replaced and have no one to blame but ourselves. I had four kids, BTW.

I've lived in the UK for the past 20 years, and I honestly have no clue what all this is about...I travel around a lot for work, and I also visit the States regularly and I feel much safer in the UK than the average city in the US. I also like the way people treat each other here better.
Also on another note, the history of the UK (in particular England) is one of constant immigration and changing of peoples, from the vikings, romans, angles, saxons, normands, (French), jutes, etc. Lots of people have and will come and go out of this country.

The only two things that protect the US from the current position of native UKers:
1) they are being overrun, by design, by natives of Muslim countries. The US is being overrun, by design, from mostly natives of countries more Catholic than Muslim
2) unlike UKers, almost without exception, (almost) regardless of where I go, I go with the means to stop anyone who tries to take my life, liberty or property.
They are stuck. All figuratively, and many literally.
