Citi bank stock is up 10+% over the last month. If you’re struggling in this economy you are doing something horribly wrong.
Sorry to hear Heisman U is poor.

1. I'm actually very well off, I just don't think that it makes me better than others less well off.
2. My experience has been that people that accuse others of being poor are usually poor.

So the current economy has been very good to you? Then what are you complaining about? I don’t get people complaining that the current economic situation is so horrible, but by some luck of god they are thriving. What possible metric are you using to judge the current economic conditions then?
Retail sales are up. Household wealth at all time highs. Hourly wages at all time highs. Vacation travel is at record highs. Stock market at all time highs.

I'm looking at linkedin job postings and seeing a couple hundred to sometimes over a thousand applicants for jobs.

How do you see that?

I don't see that.

Maybe they shouldn't cancel credit cards of paying customers with great credit. They canceled my card because I wasn't using it. I got another one. They canceled it again. 800 credit and zero debt. I get that banks want people to actually have debt but how much money does is cost to have my empty card in the system? How much money do they spend to get a new account?

But here she is auditioning dummies who will waste their time with her.bwahaha

I see that because I lost my job on Jan4 and have never seen LinkedIn like this before. It was the third round of layoffs at my company since June 23. Not sure the company will make it through the year.

Each job posting tells you how many applicants they have already for the role.

I've been reaching out to connections and no one has anything. True, it is the beginning of year and we need to get to February before we can see companies with new budgets go out and start hiring again. But I've never seen it this bad. My buddy at Cigna said they just had a %20 reduction in work force. He said his connection at Citrix said they just had a large reduction. Google, Salesforce, Microsoft, and many other larger employers have made massive cuts. Staffing agencies have little inventory right now. Spoke with some connections at Randstad, and they had nothing internal and their job listings for my industry are pretty crap right now.
