Those trying to tar all media today aren’t interested in improving journalism but protecting themselves. There’s a lot more accountability in media these days than in our politics. We know we live in a glass house, we hope the folks we cover are as self aware.

Once again, the concern is how this will be used against the media — not how a major outlet could screw up this badly and how to prevent it again.
Because again, they’re upset BuzzFeed got caught — not that they were misled by shoddy reporters doing crap work.

If what’s happening these days is Chuck Todd’s idea of “improving journalism”, then all media NEEDS to be not only tarred, but feathered and ridden out of town on a rail as well.

I think people have forgotten that the last step in tarring and feathering someone is lighting the feathers on fire. That’s why people who had been tarred and feathered ran around like a crazy person, to avoid people trying to make them a candle.

Simple answer Chucky, actually report news. Say something good about the President and the positives he has made in OUR country.

Not one second of true professional introspection by media members. Only concern about how the public is “misrepresenting all of their good work.”
