A buddy of mine lived in an apartment with his wife. The unit below them was rented by a single one-legged woman. His wife kept worrying that more people were going to move in with her. Then one night the lady had a dinner party and it got loud. My friend’s wife said, “There you go; it’s happening just as I predicted.” My friend’s said, “She’s just having a dinner party. Yakster, That answer sounds a lot like you.
But I’ll reframe your question. Before the 1980s the USA ran huge trade surpluses with most nations. Were we doing it with unfair trade practices?
