China’s National Oil Company Suspends Sales to North Korea

On the surface, it appears that China is using its ultimate leverage with Pyongyang. Threats to North Korea’s oil supply are regarded by some observers as the best way to tell when Beijing truly loses patience with its psychotic client state.
It also seems noteworthy that the Chinese move comes after President Trump’s public expressions of frustration with China regarding the North Korean crisis, and rumbles from the administration that new sanctions against China may be forthcoming.
The sanctions most immediately in prospect concern Chinese complicity in human trafficking. The U.S. State Department published a report on Tuesday labeling China one of the worst human trafficking nations in the world, with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson citing China’s importation of forced North Korean labor as one of the most serious offenses.

How does China have a labor shortage?

I understand that China moves at a glacial pace because of their philosophy and psychology - but this situation needs to be brought to a head sooner rather than later. The longer the Kim family controls Pyongyang, the more likely there is going to be an incident that causes significant damage outside North Korea. We should write it off - NK is going to have to be rebuilt - in South Korea, Singapore, Hong Kong or Red China's image - if we let the cancer continue to metastasize, there will be no good end.
The appeasement of the last 60+ years hasn't worked. It's emboldened them, particularly since the later years of Il and now Un seems highly combative. I mean Un is 33 years old - we could be dealing with that fricker the rest of my natural life.

imho,China cutting all oil to N.K. is the only sanction that will have an effect.
America did this to Japan before WW2.It may have been a factor in Japan bombing Pearl Harbor.
If N.K.'s oil was cut off it would get some reaction from them.

It all but forced Japan to attack us. Their only other option was to completely stop with aggression throughout the Pacific and they were not about to do that.
