Responding just to the Chinese commentary in the OP (I didn't read the whole thread)-
You would THINK countries around the world would show a little restraint and good taste right now, and keep things on the "Get Well Soon" level.
Never mind all the fun internal politics we've had.
You are talking about the USA, the most powerful country in the world. A country that has not hesitated to reach out and slap someone in Asia, Europe or anywhere else.
A country that is in desperate need of a distraction, and a common outside enemy to reunite the populace would serve fine in that regard.
People on both sides of the election understand Trump is a healthy and active man, but he's also a 74 yr old man who's a bit overweight. This isn't an automatic recovery.
Even a lot of the MSM understands the real, actual risks... Rachel Maddow (a huge anti-Trumper) has posted an honorable "prayers for the President of the United States" remark.
CNN last night, I noted Lemon said "President of the United States" several times, not "Trump"; and in his segment someone commented that the US is at risk right now for security. We're not "at risk" of losing a conflict, that's code for we're at risk of whooping someone's arse somewhere.
